A Henderson County mother and her adult son face drug-related charges including child endangerment after police searched a cabin north of the Village of Gulfport, Illinois.
Sheriff’s deputies searched the cabin along the levee in Gladstone Township just after 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012.
Henderson County Sheriff Steven Haynes said the search resulted in the arrest of 51-year-old Carrie Ann Tate and her son, 28-year-old Nicholas Burgess, both of Danville.
Tate and Burgess each face two counts of drug-related child endangerment involving methamphetamine as well as one count each of chemical breakdown of an illicit controlled substance, possession of meth-manufacturing material, possession of hypodermic syringes/needles and possession of between 2.5 and 10 grams of cannabis.
Burgess was also charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
Tate and Burgess were both held in the Henderson County Jail.
