Police said they found items stolen in recent vehicle burglaries when they stopped a Park View man for a traffic violation.
A Scott County narcotics detective stopped Zachary Aldeman, 30, in the 100 block of Crestview Drive at about 3 a.m. Sunday, October 14, 2012. During the traffic stop, the detective reportedly found Aldeman to be in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and items stolen during recent vehicle burglaries that happened in Park View and Davenport.
Aldeman was charged with two counts of felony third-degree burglary plus misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while barred.
After searching Aldeman’s vehicle, police said more stolen property was recovered and that they expected to file additional charges.
Aldeman was held in the Scott County Jail in lieu of $17,300 bond.
