Apple Fest is back in the Quad Cities.

The Lion's Club annual Apple Fest made a re-appearance on Sunday, October 14th after it died out when the Welcome Center closed.

The fall tradition made its home this year on the LeClaire Levee for the first time. Despite the rainy weather, plenty of people made it out to enjoy apple-baked goods, lunch from the grill, and the petting zoo.

"It was always a big fundraiser for the LeClaire Lions even when it was at the Welcome Center, so we wanted to have it back in town," says Bob Basham, Treasurer of the LeClaire Lion's Club. "It brings a lot of people into LeClaire."

Visitors to this year's Apple Fest spent their money on all things apple... from pies and cakes to doughnuts and cider.
