Protestors in northern Illinois are fighting to stop a production plant from closing its doors.

Sensata Technologies in Freeport plans to shut down operations and outsource jobs to China. If the plan goes through, it would leave 200 people unemployed.

On Monday, October 8, three people were arrested at the plant for trying to block a truck from leaving the scene.

Sensata is owned by Bain Capital, the same firm once run by Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Workers at the plant are pleading with the former CEO to intervene, but as of Tuesday, his campaign hasn't commented on the protests.
