Renovation work at Augustana closes streets Monday

Renovation work at Augustana College’s Old Main building will bring on some street closures.

On Monday, October 8, 2012, 7th Avenue between 30th and 38th Streets will be closed to traffic.

This closure will begin at 7:00 am and normal traffic will resume after the work is completed around 1:00 pm.

The City of Rock Island asks drivers to follow construction signs for directions and detours.

Traffic on 7^th Avenue will be detoured to 5th Avenue, between 30th and 38th Streets. Motorists are asked to watch out for trucks entering and leaving the construction zone.
