The Iowa Mission of Mercy will host the state’s largest free dental clinic October 5th and 6th in Davenport. The Great Hall of the RiverCenter will turned into a huge dentist's office all with free care. There are no restrictions based on income, residency or insurance.
The clinic starts at 6:30 am on both Friday, October 5th and Saturday, October 6th. It will run until 5 or until capacity is met.
Dentist will be providing cleanings, fillings and extractions to anyone that needs the care. There will be about 100 dental chairs available.
They hope to provide care to 2,000 people. Since 2008, the event has provided 5,600 people with over 3.5 million dollars worth of free dental care.
