A motorcyclist died when he crashed in Clinton County Tuesday evening, October 2, 2012.
The crash was reported at about 7 p.m. about two miles west of Folletts.
Police said Kirk Kempter, 45, of Camanche, Iowa was eastbound on 292nd Street when he lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle in a curve just east of 360th Avenue.
The motorcycle went into a ditch on the north side of the road, and Kempter was thrown from the motorcycle.
Kempter was pronounced dead at the scene.
Law Jones Funeral Home announced funeral services were set for Friday morning, October 5, 2012 in Mr. Kempter’s former hometown of Sabula.
