The parents of a 10-year-old girl says they have video of a neighbor child and his dad bullying their daughter.
The two families live in East Sparta, Ohio.
WJW-TV reports Hope, 10, has cerebral palsy. Her parents claim she was bullied by a nine-year-old neighbor boy and, more recently, by the boy’s dad.
Hope’s grandmother reportedly shot home video of a boy and his father walking with a limp near the children’s bus stop.
After watching the video, Hope’s parents, Tricia and Mike, felt they needed to bring the bullying situation to the public’s attention. They say Hope doesn’t want to go to school because of the alleged bullying.
The dad in the video declined to talk but his wife said this is all part of an ongoing fight between their two families and that no offense was intended toward Hope.
Both families have filed complaints with the prosecutor’s office. No criminal charges have been filed.
