Store clerk locked in bathroom during Davenport robbery

The clerk at a Davenport dry cleaning business was reportedly locked in the store bathroom by a man who robbed the store.

The robbery was reported at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Crescent Cleaners, 1301 Harrison Street. 

Police said a man carrying a blue bag displayed a handgun when he demanded money from the store clerk.  After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the man reportedly locked the clerk in the store bathroom and left headed eastbound on foot.

The suspect was described as a 6-feet 2-inch tall, slim-build African-American man wearing all dark clothing and carrying a blue bag. .
