Early voting is underway at county auditors’ offices and at some satellite locations in all 99 counties in Iowa.

Early voting in Iowa starts exactly 40 days before the election.  Voters in Iowa can now cast an absentee ballot at any county auditor’s office.

Scott County residents can request an official absentee ballot online via the county auditor’s web page at  http://www.scottcountyiowa.com/auditor/ or by calling (563) 326-8631.  Ballots are mailed within 24 hours of receipt of the request.

Once the form is completed, it must be signed and returned to the Auditor’s office at 500 West 4th Street, Davenport, Iowa 52801.  You can also cast your absentee ballot in person in Scott County in the first floor foyer of the County Administrative Center at Gaines and West Fourth streets from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The county auditor’s website also lists alternate polling places for absentee ballots in Scott County.
