Dancing With the Stars will be held this Saturday, Sept. 29th at Mercer County High School.
Show times are 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are available for $8 at Wagner Pharmacy, McKnight Pharmacy, Stut's Drug Store, Mercer Market or any dancer.
According to the event's Facebook page, there aren't many 7:30 showtime tickets available.
The event raises money for the Track and Field Renovation Project.
Last year, they raised $22,000.
Davenport
The Davenport School Board voted against transportation cuts at Monday night's board meeting.
The school district needs to trim $3 million from its budget for the 2013-2014 school year.
The board looked at a number of ways to save money without directly affecting students.
The vote does not mean the school district is done looking at possible transportation cuts.
It will take the issue up again at its next meeting.
