Runners will line up at the start/finish line at John Deere Commons, 1201 River Drive in downtown Moline, Illinois.   All races start simultaneously at 7:30 a.m.

Parking is at iWireless Center in downtown Moline.

Race organizers say the best spots to watch runners are at the foot of the I-74 bridge in Bettendorf, at The Isle in Bettendorf, on the Government Bridge in Davenport, at Lyndsay Park in Davenport, in The District in Rock Island and along the Moline Bridge.

Race organizers encourage spectators to clap, cheer and make some noise to encourage the runners.   Have fun and get into the marathon spirit.

“If you are feeling creative, make signs.  Runners love to read them to break the monotony plus it helps your friend or family member be able to spot you,” the marathon website said.

There will be vendors at the start/finish line area for a post race party.
