Bettendorf:

Bettendorf High School has it's Homecoming parade tonight, starting at 6 p.m., with a pep rally to follow.

Moline:

Election fever hits the classroom, with some of the youngest voters urged to get involved in the political process.

A voter's registration drive will be held today in the Moline High School cafeteria during all lunches.

Anyone who will be 18 years old on or before November 6th can register.

You'll need two forms of ID and one needs to include your home address.

If you can't make it today, you can register in the library before October 9th.

Food Drive:
There are only two days left to donate food to the Bettendorf Food Pantry if you're a student in the district

Students will collect food through Friday.

October 1st is when the Quad Cities Student Hunger Drive kicks off.

Bagged food will be collected at area Hyvee stores, starting Oct. 10.

Meanwhile, the corporate challenge results were just released.

33 area businesses collected enough food to provide 200,000 meals for needy families in the area.

Davenport:

You only have one day left to give your feedback to Davenport Community Schools leaders on a proposal to cut $3 million from the 2013-2014 school year budget by doing away with some bus services.
