One woman was arrested when police busted an alleged active methamphetamine lab in a Silvis, Illinois house.
Silvis Police Chief William Brasche said officers from his department and QCMEG investigators served a search warrant at 514 First Avenue at about 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2012.
“An active meth lab was discovered and safely dismantled,” Brasche said.
As a result of the search, Christina Schumacher, 33, was arrested for alleged manufacture of methamphetamine.
Schumacher was held in the Rock Island County Jail. Formal charges were expected Wednesday, September 19.
