The Iowa Department of Corrections is looking for Steven Adcock, a minimum outs worker from John Bennett Unit At Fort Madison.  Adcock is part of a work detail in Keokuk, IA.

The Iowa DOC reports that he was last seen by his work supervisor at 11:35 a.m. on Monday.

Adcock is serving a 16-year sentence for burglary, theft and drug possession.  His convictions come from charges in several different Iowa counties, including Muscatine County where he was convicted of third-degree burglary.

Adcock is 42 years old.  He is 5-foot 10-inches tall, 240 pounds, bald and has brown eyes.
 He has a skull and SWP tattoo on his left forearm, a tattoo of a gun with a lady under his right arm, a face with the name Pamela Jo tattoo on is right shoulder and a swastika tattoo with the word Skins on it on the right side of his chest.

Information about his whereabouts should be reported to the Keokuk Police Department or Lee County Sheriff's Department.  Iowa State Penitentiary teams have joined local law enforcement in the search.
