Arrowhead Ranch in Coal Valley is celebrating a major milestone.
Sunday, September 17th was their 40th annual round-up and auction. More than 60 vehicles were up for bid as well as smaller items like exercise equipment, lawn mowers, and furniture.
More than $100,000 was raised today and it all goes directly to the organization, which helps at-risk youth in the Quad City area.
“They get to a point in their life where they need some help, and they come here for help,” says Dave Howell, Arrowhead Board President. “It’s actually neat, I’ve met lots of people today who spent some time here at Arrowhead and are thankful for the help they got.”
While the round-up and auction has been going on for four decades, Arrowhead Ranch has been around for nearly seven decades since 1945.
