VP Biden to Visit Burlington Monday, Sept. 17

UPDATE: Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to visit Burlington, Iowa Monday, September 17th.

Organizers say the grassroots event will take place at The Port of Burlington, 400 North Front Street, Burlington, IA. Doors will open at 1 p.m.  The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required for entrance. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

To pick up your ticket, visit one of the following campaign offices beginning this Saturday, September 15th at 10 a.m.  The office locations are:

900 Osborn Street, Burlington, IA

827 Ave H, Fort Madison, IA

401 Main St, Keokuk, IA.

Tickets will also be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 15th at The Port of Burlington, 400 North Front Street, Burlington, IA.

Mr. Biden is scheduled to visit Bridge View Center in Ottumwa, Iowa and Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa Tuesday, September 18. 

EARLIER STORY: Vice President Joe Biden is expected to make campaign stops in Iowa Monday and Tuesday, September 17 and 18.

Biden was in Iowa City Friday, September 7 where he and his wife, Jill joined President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama on a campaign stop.

Details for the September 17 and 18 Iowa stops have not yet been released.   The vice president is expected to make remarks at various grassroots events throughout the state.
