Rock Island teen shot and killed

Two teens are among those arrested after a 17-year-old was shot Friday, September 7, 2012.

Police said they found Kion Lewis on the front porch of a house near 10^th Street and 11^th Avenue after Lewis was shot just before 3:30 p.m.

Lewis was taken by ambulance to an area hospital where he later died.  Police said he suffered a single gunshot.

Investigators said for people, including a 16-year-old, were arrested in connection with the case.  The identity of the juvenile suspect was not released.  The three others arrested are 30-year-old Kelvin Shaw, 27-year-old Andre Shaw and 17-year-old Jodan Murphy, all of Rock Island.

A statement from Rock Island Police said the four suspects will each be charged with first-degree murder.
