TechCrunch reported someone identifies as AnonymousOwn3r claimed responsibility for the outage.
Mashable.com reported GoDaddy is the world’s largest domain registrar and one of the biggest web hosts. When GoDaddy’s DNS servers went down, that left thousands of websites inaccessible.
GoDaddy tweeted it is “aware of the trouble people are having” with its site and that they were working on fixing the problem.
