Whiteside County, Illinois deputies said they had help from Erie Police when they arrested 23 people at a reported underage party in rural Erie, Illinois.
Deputies were called to investigate the reported party just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2012.
A spokesman for the sheriff’s department said Erie Police helped break up the party and make the numerous arrests.
Those arrested ranged in age from a 15-year-old girl from Erie to a 23-year-old man from Moline. One 16-year-old girl and six 17-year-olds were also arrested.
One of the arrestees is from Clinton, Iowa and the rest of the people arrested are from various area cities in Illinois including Moline, East Moline, Silvis, Hillsdale, Port Byron, Rapid City, Albany, Morrison, Lydon and Erie.
Police said all of the people arrested at the party faced a charge of unlawful consumption of alcohol as a minor. Kyle Zimmer, 18, of Moline was also charged with resisting/obstructing a peace officer. Joshua Priest, 23, of Moline was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol.
