Muscatine store clerk admits to stealing lottery tickets

A convenience store clerk from Muscatine, Iowa pleaded guilty to stealing 18 lottery tickets from the store where he worked.

Christopher Gesualdo, 23, pleaded guilty to the class D felony charge in Muscatine County District Court Friday, August 31, 2012.

Muscatine County Attorney Alan Ostergren said Gesualdo also admitted that the theft violated the terms of probation he was serving for third-degree sexual abuse.

Gesualdo was scheduled to have his probation revoked and to be sentenced for the lottery ticket theft charge at 9 a.m. October 12, 2012.
