A Silvis man is behind bars after being arrested on federal child pornography charges.
31 year-old John Frazer was arrested after federal agents raided his apartment in the 800 block of 11the Street Court in Silvis.
Frazer is accused of taking sexually explicit pictures of an 8 year-old girl and posting them on the internet.
The feds say the pictures were actually discovered on a Russian website, found by a Denmark police unit. The referral was made to the U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations Cyber Crime Center which tracked the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to upload the images to Frazer.
Police seized his cell phone and computer, and according to the affidavit filed in federal court, found images of the 8-year old.
If he's convicted, he faces 15 to 30 years in prison.
