Police say a 38-year-old Galesburg man died after he was shot multiple times Monday, August 27, 2012.
Police were sent to investigate a report of shots fired in the 1000 block of Mulberry Street just before 11 p.m.
When they arrived, they found Terrell Allen suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Allen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neighbors said Allen didn't live there but sometimes stayed with a girlfriend who lives in the neighborhood. Neighbors also said they think Allen was the target and that the shooting was not a random act of violence.
No information was released yet concerning a possible suspect or motive for the shooting.
