Rain finally arrived in the Quad Cities.
It fell steadily Sunday for most of the day.
The rain is needed for what crops might still have a chance this growing season, including soybeans.
It’s not so great, however, for outdoor activities.
The Phoenix Festival, which helps raise money for domestic violence and homeless shelters, had to cancel their event in Schwiebert Park.
They plan to reschedule.
