Starting Monday, for the next month and a half, road construction crews will take over downtown Moline.
Traffic will be rerouted from the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 19th Street in Moline.
Crews will be doing some utility work, replacing pavement, and streetscaping.
Drivers will be detoured to Fourth and Sixth during that closure, which is expected to last for five weeks.
In Davenport, work continues Monday on Pine St. from Kimberly to 45th St.
Crews there are replacing the paving.
Concrete trucks will be moving in and out of the area, which will cause delays.
Drivers are asked to avoid that area until the project is complete.
