Muscatine man sentenced to 32 years for child exploitation

A 44-year-old Muscatine, Iowa man was sentenced to 32 years in prison after he was convicted of enticing a minor to engage in sexual conduct.

A 44-year-old Muscatine, Iowa man was sentenced to 32 years in prison after he was convicted of enticing a minor to engage in sexual conduct.

Brian Reynolds was convicted in April 2012 of using the internet to meet a 13-year-old girl whom he later met and sexually assaulted.  It all happened in December 2008 and January 2009. 

Investigators also found pornographic images of another minor on Reynolds’ cell phone. 

Reynolds was also convicted of production of child pornography and receipt of child pornography.  The sentences for those convictions will be served concurrently with his 32-year prison term.  When he is released, Reynolds will serve 15 years of supervised release.
