Crews repairing overhead signs will block various lanes at various times on Interstate 74 Tuesday, August 14, 2012.
The lane closures will be on the westbound (Iowa-bound) lanes of I-74 between Interstate 280 and John Deere Road in Moline.
Crews could begin closing lanes at various points along I-74 as early as 7 a.m. Tuesday. They’ll continue to work throughout the day, closing one lane at a time as they repair overhead signs.
The project is expected to be completed by 6 p.m.
This is separate from ongoing bridge work that has the exit from westbound I-74 to eastbound John Deere Road closed.
