Go-kart accident sends man to hospital
A Davenport man is in the hospital after a go-kart accident late Saturday night.
Officers say George Cooper was traveling westbound close to midnight at the 3600 Block of Hickory Grove Road in Davenport when he lost control of a go kart and rolled it.
He was thrown from the kart.
Cooper was transferred to Iowa City with a life threatening head injury.
