Romney picks Ryan as running mate

The GOP ticket is set.

Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan is Mitt Romney’s running mate.

Romney made the announcement Saturday morning and introduced Ryan in Virginia.

“It’s an honor to announce my running mate and the next vice president of the United States, Paul Ryan,” said Romney.

As Chairman of the House Budget Committee, he’s been front and center in the battle over spending cuts and entitlement reform.
