Producers will roll into town early to prepare for the Mumford and Sons concert and festival in Dixon, Illinois.
Jam Productions reps are expected to arrive Monday, August 13, 2012 to set up the concert site and surrounding campgrounds.
The company is reportedly paying the city of Dixon $5,000 to use the Fargo Creek retention field to park about 2,000 cars during the concert. City leaders were close to signing a lease with Camp Reynoldswood to house nearly 4,000 campers the night of the concert.
A crowd of 15,000 is expected to attend the concert which starts August 18 at 2 p.m. in Page Park.
