A 20-year-old woman from Galva, Illinois died when the car she was driving went off the road and overturned.
The wreck was reported at about 6 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2012.
Police said the woman was driving a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am was westbound on Route 17 east of Woodhull when the car went off the right side of the road and rolled in a corn field.
The woman was ejected from the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Police said there were no other people in the car and no other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
The woman’s name was withheld pending notification of her family.
