A judge denied convicted murderer Chad Enderle’s claim that he did not get a fair trial in Scott County, Iowa.
Enderle was convicted November 26, 2003 of first-degree murder in the death of Gregory Harris. Enderle used a rock and a walking stick to beat Harris to death.
Enderle was sentenced December 11, 2003 to life in prison.
Enderle contested the evidence used at his trial and filed a petition claiming he did not receive a fair trial. His claim was heard in June 2012.
Judge Nancy Tabor ruled in the case, denying Enderle’s petition for post-conviction relief.

Enderle previously appealed his conviction claiming insufficient evidence and ineffective assistance of counsel in the case. The Iowa Court of Appeals affirmed the conviction and sentence November 16, 2007. Enderle followed that action with a petition for rehearing to the Iowa Supreme Court. That petition was denied in March 2008.
