Clinton Police say they arrested a teen in connection with a robbery in which a pizza delivery driver was hit in the head with a brick.
The robbery was reported at about 10 p.m. June 24, 2012 in the 800 block of Fourth Avenue South. The driver reported being struck in the head with a brick during the robbery.
Police said they arrested 17-year-old Darren Cross Jr. at 11:30 a.m. July 25, 2012. Cross made his first court appearance for the case July 26, where he was formally charged with one count of first-degree robbery. The charge is a felony.
A public defender was appointed to represent Cross. A preliminary hearing in the case was set for August 3.
Cross was held in the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
