DAVENPORT, IA - Many have gathered to the StreetFest again Saturday night for the great music, drinks and food inside Downtown Davenport.  Both tourist and locals, but for many of the vendors it is able the outside revenue.

Local business owner, Anne Brown of The Adventure Orange located in the East Village says she relies on that year round.

"We see a lot of tourist, Brown says. "We see a lot of business from the channel cat. its honestly one of our biggest source of revenue is the tourist that come through and this just piggy backs off of that with the tourist that are coming through for the fest."

This is The Adventure Orange's first year as a vendor at the StreetFest.  They sell unique homemade items like t-shirts and earrings in the shapes of Iowa and Illinois.

But for traveling caricature artist, Dorinda Hoke revenue from events like these are her entire income.  She says luckily even in rough economic times, these festivals can be enjoyed by everyone.

"I think my price point is low enough that people can afford it and still come out and have fun," Hoke says.  "They all want to still have fun even in down times so its just a real blessing both ways."

Vendors at the street fest have a chance to make profits and smiles, during one of the Quad Cities busiest weekends of the year.
