A 22-year-old Kewanee man died after he was ejected from the vehicle he was driving in rural Henry County, Illinois.
Police said the driver was traveling northbound on East 2700 Street at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 when he lost control and crashed into a ditch embankment at North 400 Avenue in rural Kewanee. His vehicle overturned and he was ejected from the vehicle.
The man was taken by ambulance to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver was the only person in the wrecked vehicle and no other vehicles were involved.
The man’s identity was withheld pending notification of family.
