Davenport city officials are mailing surveys to residents to measure community satisfaction with quality of life issues and city services.

The survey will be mailed to 1,200 Davenport residents Thursday, July 26, 2012.   This is the seventh time the city of Davenport has surveyed residents since 1999.  The last survey was conducted in 2010.

City officials say it takes about 15 minutes to complete the survey.  Questions cover topics such as police and fire department services, parks, public works and communications.

Residents selected to receive the survey might also get a  phone call reminding them to complete and mail it in the stamped, addressed envelope provided.   A company in Olathe, Kansas will compile the survey results, which will be shared at public forums on later dates.
