Workers performing bridge inspection will close various lanes of the Centennial Bridge to traffic for several days in late July and early August.
The Illinois Department of Transportation announced the lane closure will be in place Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crews will also close a lane Thursday, July 26 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Bridge inspectors will return and close a lane to traffic Monday through Thursday, July 30 to August 2, 2012 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. They are scheduled to complete the bridge inspection by noon Thursday, August 2.
