The Arc of the Quad Cities Area announces it will be the recipient of proceeds from the Charity Golf Classic sponsored by Pinnacle Country Club and WQAD.  This year celebrates our 60th year of service!

The Arc of the Quad Cities Area serves more than 300 individuals with intellectual and other disabilities.  Programs foster the highest degree of independence possible, offering residential services, developmental and vocational skills training, supported employment, and respite care.  From its humble beginnings in the home of a privately-hired teacher in 1952, The Arc has evolved to a $13.5 million non-profit which employs a staff of more than 250.

WHO:  All are welcome!  The event is open to the public.

WHAT:  The 2012 Charity Golf Classic features a 18-hole competition for the benefit of The Arc of the Quad Cities Area.  The format is a four person scramble using best shot of team.  Awards given to top two foursomes per flight.  The $150 registration fee includes greens fees, cart rental, lunch, 19th Hole Reception, course beverages, and silent auction bid privileges.

WHY:   Proceeds benefit programs and services supporting more than 300 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
