Man suffers multiple stab wounds to back

Moline Police say one man was jailed after witnesses said he stabbed another man repeatedly in the back.

Police were called to a home in the 1500 block of 31^st Avenue just before 3 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012.  They arrived to find the victim there with multiple stab wounds to his back.

Witnesses told officers 31-year-old Benjamin Feliksiak, of Moline, had repeatedly stabbed the 44-year-old victim.

Feliksiak and the victim were taken to an area hospital by ambulance.

Feliksiak was later arrested on two counts of aggravated battery. 

Feliksiak was held in the Rock Island County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond.
