A Davenport man was arrested for allegedly setting fire to a traffic speed-control trailer Monday night, July 9, 2012.
The trailer carries equipment and signage used to slow traffic and alert motorists to slow down. It was placed in the 2600 block of West 68th Street for a few days before the fire.
Police said the fire was set sometime after 11 p.m.
The next day, police arrested Craig Petersen, 27. He was charged with felony second-degree arson.
Petersen was held in the Scott County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
