An accident on I-280 snarled traffic and delayed the driver home for hundreds of Quad City drivers Friday. The crash involved a camper and an SUV.
It happened around 3:30pm between Kimberly and Locust on I-280. The west-bound lanes were completely shut down between the two exits, and police had to divert drivers in both directions off the interstate.
The camper was virtually destroyed in the accident. No word on any injuries.
