Outdoor watering is banned in the city of Morrison, Illinois through July 10, 2012.
Well #4, located at Kelly Park in Morrison, was taken off-line June 28, 2012 as part of planned improvements to the water system which serves Morrison.
The well was expected to remain off-line while a new well house was installed.
To help the city maintain adequate water for other uses, city officials issued a temporary outdoor watering ban for all City of Morrison residents and businesses. City officials also urged all residents and businesses to practice water conservation whenever possible.
The outdoor watering ban and request for water conservation were expected to be in effect through Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
