A website dedicated to busting people who use cell phones while driving just celebrated its anniversary.
TextFace.com was launched in the summer of 2011. In addition to a website, TextFace has a Facebook page on which they post photos and updates to state laws concerning distracted driving.
The site contributors also post video of distracted drivers and of their confrontations with those drivers.
The TextFace.com website says they are a “social community with the goal of promoting safety on American roads by sharing stories, sharing information and partnering with businesses and organizations to influence legislation of distracted driving.
“Our goal is to reduce the numbers of accidents and deaths influenced by distracted driving. Our success is measured in the number of lives touched through our education and outreach efforts,” the site says.
