Police: Restaurant manager attacked and robbed

Moline Police say a downtown restaurant manager reported being hit over the head and robbed by two men as she walked to make a bank deposit.

The manager of La Flama restaurant, 1624 Fifth Avenue, told police she has just exited the rear of the restaurant Friday, June 29, 2012 around 8:30 a.m. to walk the morning deposit to the bank.  That’s when she says she was hit on the head and knocked to the ground.

Two men reportedly grabbed the restaurant money bag and fled.

The suspects were both described as more than six feet tall.  Both wore t-shirts and shorts.
