Davenport Police say they found a 60-year-old man, with serious health problems, after he was reported missing from an assisted living center.
Robert Hakes reportedly walked away from St. Francis Chateau assisted living center in Davenport on Thursday, June 28, 2012.
Mr. Hakes suffers from memory problems due to a recent stroke.
Police contacted area media outlets including News 8 at about 2 p.m. with information about Mr. Hakes’ disappearance. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Hakes was reported found in the 2000 block of West Third Street in Davenport.
Police said Mr. Hakes’ recent medical problems combined with the extreme heat of the day prompted their urgent plea for help locating him.
