Aledo, Illinois:  Fireworks at dusk July 4, 2012 at Mercer County Fairgrounds, SW 12th Avenue and Illinois 17 in Aledo.   Call (309) 582-5373 for details.

Dubuque, Iowa:  Jaycees Fireworks, July 3 at approximately 9:45 p.m. on the riverfront.  Parking in Jaycees lots is $10, with proceeds to fund next year’s fireworks show.  A.Y. Matherville, Illinois:  Matherville Fireworks Association 45th Annual Fireworks display on the shore of Lake Matherville.  July 3, 2012 at dusk.  Rain date is July 4, 2012.  Highway 67 south from Milan to the Matherville Blacktop.  Turn west, follow the Blacktop to the business section then to the lake entrance.  Donations accepted at the gate.  No pets allowed.

Milan, Illinois:  Fireworks July 3 at dusk in Camden Park on U.S. 67. 

Mineral, Illinois:  Annual fireworks show July 3 at dusk at the Village Baseball Field.  Freewill donations accepted. 

Muscatine, Iowa:  Annual fireworks on the riverfront, July 4, at dusk.  Bring chairs or a blanket.
