A rural Biggsville, Illinois man was flown to an area hospital after farm hands freed him from beneath a large piece of metal.
The incident was reported just after 9 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at a farm in rural Biggsville.
Deputies from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department said Steve Geta and some farm hands were unloading grain bin metal from a semi trailer when Getz was trapped beneath a piece of the metal.
Farm hands had freed Getz by the time deputies arrived.
Getz was taken by ambulance to West Central High School where he was put in a helicopter ambulance and taken to a hospital in Iowa City.
