Pair arrested in narcotics investigation

Two area men were arrested on meth and heroin charges by the Quad City Metropolitan Enforcement Group.

QC MEG investigators worked with the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department to build the case before the arrests.

Ryan Schlitter, 21, of Davenport, Iowa was charged with possession of heroin and possession of methamphetamine.  He was held in the Scott County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bond.

Forrest Romano, 23, of Maquoketa, Iowa was charged with possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.  Romano faces additional charges of interference with official acts, false report and theft.  He was held in the Scott County Jail in lieu of $45,000 bond.

Police said additional charges were pending in the investigation.
