The new Miss Iowa is a woman from Burlington who was Miss Muscatine.
Mariah Cary, 20, won the pageant held in Davenport. The finals were Saturday, June 9, 2012.
Miss Clinton County, Alexandria Necker, of DeWitt, was first runner-up. Miss Scott County, Taylor Weibers, of Clinton, was second runner-up.
Cary will represent Iowa in the Miss America pageant in January 2013.
