The Powerball jackpot for Saturday night’s drawing was an estimated $205 million as of Friday afternoon, July 8, 2012.
Powerball paid out more than $5 million in non-jackpot prizes won in the drawing Wednesday, June 6 but the jackpot continued to grow.
Powerball is available in 42 states including Iowa and Illinois.
The cash option for a $205 million jackpot winner is just about $139.6 million.
